Your knowledge, your machine, your control.

Morden is an offline-first AI knowledge assistant that combines local LLM inference, retrieval-augmented generation, and a knowledge graph to give you cited, trustworthy answers from your own documents.

How Morden works

Bring your documents — manuals, datasheets, reports, standards, specifications. Morden ingests them into a local knowledge base with full source tracking.

Morden builds a knowledge graph that captures the structural relationships between entities in your corpus — components, protocols, materials, clauses, specifications. This is what separates Morden from generic chat-with-docs tools: it understands how things connect, not just what words appear nearby.

Ask questions in natural language. Morden retrieves relevant content, re-ranks by source quality, and generates answers with citations and confidence indicators. Every answer traces back to specific pages in specific documents.

What makes Morden different

Fully offline
Your documents never leave your machine. No cloud processing, no data extraction, no third-party access.
Knowledge graph + RAG hybrid
Structural relationships between entities, not just vector similarity. Morden finds connections that keyword and embedding search miss.
Source quality tiers
Not all documents are equal. Morden distinguishes between peer-reviewed standards, manufacturer documentation, internal reports, and community knowledge.
Cited answers with confidence
Every response includes source citations with page numbers and a confidence indicator. No hallucination without accountability.
